The Retreat is a great place for large families with dogs and horses. No charge for dogs and reasonable rate for horses. The Retreat is a perfect place for your family to have space, see many varieties of wildlife, and enjoy country relaxation. It's a short drive from town so bring a few food items with you. And don't forget your cameras! The Space The Retreat is almost 3000 square feet of decorated comfort filled with art, antiques, and a Loft that overlooks everything. Lots of windows make the long-distance views of the mountains picturesque. There is a full kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and a full-size washer and dryer. Another guest accommodation, the Shepherd's Nook, is underneath the house and is more affordable for smaller families. Both can be rented for families as large as 10-12. Guest Access Entrances have digital keypads, so no need for a key exchange. The main floor and loft are available. A spacious front porch is a favorite feature all summer and fall. The front yard is shared with the local deer herd who are fond of the clover in the front yard. A back patio also sits on the western sunny side of the house.
